On Monday, june 4th, 2018 and for the 28th consecutive year in a row, john donated a painting to the “face the world” annual gala. Hosted by Jacqui Cohn and Sir Tom Jones, the pristine black tie, star studded evening is like no other. John was in attendance with celebrity Fiona Forbes as his date. The live auction bid furiously and when the gavel came down, the final bid for john’s painting was $20,000 to the owner of the Vancouver Canucks. Such a magnificent evening and for a worthy cause.
